Obituary – Dr Jyoti Prakas Basu

Dear Friends,

 It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Dr. Jyoti Prakas Basu. He passed away peacefully on August 1, 2021. Jyotida was cherished dearly by all who knew him. He had been a valued member of Prabasi, and his contributions and selfless work will always be remembered.  His wisdom, knowledge and philosophical outlook will be missed a great deal. His death is a profound loss for us all. Our deepest condolences to his family. May his soul rest in peace.
